Growers Supply to Attend Farwest 2016

GrowSpan’s parent company, Growers Supply, will be hosting a booth at Farwest 2016. Farwest is the west’s largest growing show, and it provides attendees access to over 400 exhibits and thousands of industry professionals. Growers Supply’s Greenhouse Specialists will be on hand to provide information on the GrowSpan line of greenhouses and to answer any questions.

Farwest allows growers from all over the world to stay up to date on industry trends and the latest in growing. The five acre exhibition is filled with information on products, equipment, services, trends, techniques and more. 

Some of the industry’s most prominent professionals will lecture on a wide range of topics, including the future of the green industry, contemporary marketing techniques, soil health and much more. 

Farwest also has a number of showcases that are tailored to numerous professions within the industry. Attendees will have access to Farwest’s Growers Showcase, Retail Idea Center, New Varieties Showcase, Solution Center, New Products Showcase and more.

No doubt there is a lot to see and take in. To help growers get the most out of the experience, Farwest has arranged tours of the exhibition that are lead by industry experts. Attendees will be able to ask practical questions on the spot and obtain the information that is applicable to their operation. Tours will be lead by Dan Hinkley, Judy Sharpton and Suzanne Wainwright-Evans.  

Attending Farwest is a great way to gain essential knowledge that can be applied to any operation, whether it’s a commercial production facility or retail center, but attending is also a wonderful way to experience the Pacific Northwest. Located in one of the country’s most famous horticultural regions, Farwest has a number of tours that highlight some of Oregon’s finest retail centers and wholesale operations. Tour goers will witness Oregon’s most beautiful plants and impressive growing operations. 

There will also be a Pub Crawl hosted by Farwest. The Thursday night event allows attendees to relax and network with growers from across the country.
